Restrained are two bands and one DJ: 1) A hardcore DJ/producer. 2) A progressive rock band from Sweden 3) A retired hardcore punk band from Redlands/Highland, CA _____________________________________ 1) Restrained, real name Terence de Jong, is a hardcore/gabber producer and DJ from Ederveen, Netherlands. He began his musical career after being inspired after visiting big events like Masters of Hardcore, Q-Base and Harmony of Hardcore. He became fascinated by this type of music and in 2009 he started his own solo project called Restrained. Under this name his passion about music came to live as he became addicted to producing mainstream Hardcore. 2) The band released their first studio album for free on their website. Since most of the members come from different musical backgrounds the style of the music is very variated, including everything from hard progressive rock and metal to a more pop oriented sound. In 2007, Sina Vosough parted ways with the rest of the bandmembers and because of that they have renamed themselves: Wield (www.myspace.com/wieldmusic). Robin Sjölund has now filled the spot as the new guitarist. 3) Current/Ex members of Life Tyrant, 7 Generations, Bad Lovers and Mother Speed.
