Quick 'o' Clock is a punk rock band from Washington D.C. Speedy McGee (guitar) and The Rodent Himself (drums) live in a timeline where they start as underground punks during a time of extreme political turmoil, playing flash mobs and rallies and shows all over. Their band, A Couple Punk Boys, earns a reputation as the fastest duo ever. Fans begin to come from all over to witness Speedy’s signature shredding and TRH’s insane drum chops. Their message of peace through world unity leads them to the forefront of rebellion and soon they are an international sensation. As they tour all over the world, A Couple Punk Boys evolve into superstars, with a massive mob of fans that support and follow them. They play at Madison Square Garden, the Taj Mahal, even the Great Pyramids of Giza. Their biggest show ever however, would change their destiny forever. The League of Nations gathers in London for the largest peace conference in history. Their mission: A unified Earth and an end to war and corruption. After the ceremony, and with the whole world watching- A Couple Punk Boys plays their rowdiest, quickest show to celebrate. As they power through their set, song after song, with energy the likes of which have never been seen, their hands become a blur during their final song, and their lyrics indecipherable. Notes are played so precisely and with such speed and vigor it becomes one solid block of sound so intense that it ruptures the space time continuum. It all happens in a moment. Or perhaps eons? Before they know what has happened, Speedy Mcgee and TRH are thrown into the rupture and are soaring through space-time. They watch with bewilderment as dimensions beyond their comprehension flash by them. TRH watches as Speedy’s form oscillates from a baby to a wrinkled old man. Mcgee sees his friend’s horrid expression and then suddenly in a flash he is gone. Centuries (seconds?) fly by as Speedy McGee travels alone through the continuum. Until finally he reaches the end of time. Waiting for him here is Father Time, who despite the infinite number of vastly different timelines he oversees, just happens to be a fan of the band. Speedy arrives as a husk, rendered insane from his journey. But FT restores his life force and bestows upon him an artifact from the end of time - the QUICK’O’CLOCK. This allows Speedy to open the continuum at a whim, and also to perform the unspeakable: travel backwards through time, and enter dimensions as he pleases. There is only one catch: if someone uses the QOC to enter a dimension they don’t belong to for too long, they will cease to exist. “Find the Rodent Himself,” says Father Time. “and rock on.” Speedy, reborn, nods and thanks him, then begins his quest. ..
