About Pziezzo Electric
Willie Els also known as Pziezzo Electric (pronounced Pee-zo) has handled some of the biggest remixes and performed at the some of the most renown events and clubs to date; including Homegrown, Brick City, Science Frikshun, NoctiVega, Side Show, The Assembly and the mighty Devastation Bi-Monthly. It all started when his track ‘The Beebop’ won him first prize in the MIO Bloc Rocking Beatz competition in 2007 and in 2009 he was second runner up BPM’s Annual Remix competition for his remix of Infected Mushroom - Smashing The Opponent. Then his remix of ‘FX Logik – Private Places’ and 'Titus 1 ft Kyle Jordan - Where Did You Go' got picked up by Orphan Music in Canada. He then signed to Elektroshok Records in Spain, known for their chart topping Breaks releases. His track 'Square Shaped Circles' got remixed by KUNG, Maztek, Michael White, Bass Head, Dubsective and more; giving him massive international exposure for the Pziezzo Electric Project. One his major break-off projects, Damage Inc (in partnership with Multicrisis), is currently hot on the Drum and Bass scene with releases on Ammunition Records, Future Sickness, Devastation Records (their own imprint) and more recently, the might Yellow-Stripe Recordings. With experimental Electronic Dance Music as his blanket, the array of influences is from every corner pin of the industry. 13 years of electronic production has extended his love of all genres, and by all means not limited to any specific style. When listening to the sound of this static-vibration inspired producer, you get the feeling that his understanding and love of the electronic umbrella goes just a little deeper than surface satisfaction. Being nothing less than a perfectionist by nature when whipping tracks together or flavoring up some other already hot beats, it’s not unlikely to find him burning the midnight oil - or rather electricity - all the way to the hello of sunrise. His inspiration and style evolves from a variety of producers and genres, from Dubstep to Tech, DnB to Electro and everything in-between. He respects a bold approach to music, strong deliverance and the more tongue in cheek approach to whether or not people will be digging his sound. “My sets are an expression of myself, my music and my perspective of what how I perceive music.”
