About Promise of Bloodshed
Auckland, New Zealand (2000 - 2007) Promise of Bloodshed is a heavy-as-fuck Auckland-based five-piece. The band formed in mid-2000 and since have played gigs with other Throwdown, Hatebreed and a host of local harcore and metal bands. Promise of Bloodshed describe their sound as a very metal style of hardcore, influenced by the likes of Liar, Day of Suffering, Cannibal Corpse, Reprisal and Hatebreed. Guitarist and founding member Mat states the band's aim is simply, "to be the heaviest and most brutal band in New Zealand".
