Ports of Spain is an indie rock/experimental pop duo from New Haven, CT. Featuring Ilya Gitelman on guitars and Sam Carlson on drums, they are well known for their extensive use of loop pedals and dual harmonies. The band formed when both members were attending Southern Connecticut State University and began playing in a Pink Floyd cover band together. Winters Teeth, the band's first EP, dropped October 2010.
