About Portrait Bizarre

portrait is a band from Maasmechelen, a former Belgian miner village. 'Herbert Coox' (bass), 'Raymond Szostek' (keys) and 'Marc Cloostermans' (guitar) formed the band years ago, but with a new singer, 'Yannick Camps' and a new drummer, 'Ron Poelmans', this is a fresh start with an experienced professional base. Under the supervision of producer/mentor Luc Van Acker (Shriekback, Revolting Cocks), the band taped a lot of new songs in their own studio in an old miner's house. Their first EP 'Misery Boy' is ready now! Release December 04th 2012, recorded and mixed @ DeStudio - Asse (B), mastered @ Tonekitchen. portrait stands for good British alternative and radio-friendly pop with a great singer, who shares his passion for music with his love for greyhounds. portrait is here: WEBSITE: http://www.portraitbizarre.be/ VI.BE: http://vi.be/portraitbizarre/
