About Popturtle
Popturtle is an electronic pop project formed in 2021 by Reggie Adkins. Reggie was active on YouTube between 2013 and 2017, and again in 2020 with a meme-oriented channel. In late 2020, he was inspired by Lemon Demon and russelbuck to start making music, releasing his debut album PT Jams in 2021. It was followed in 2022 by his sophomore effort, Koopa, and a third album, ɾ, in 2023. In late 2025, he began working with vocalist Subsided to shift away from instrumental music, releasing singles in advance of his fourth album, scheduled for 2026. Later influences include AJR, Drive45, tv room, and Polite Fiction.
