About Poptape
This artist is based in Oslo. He plays most of the instruments and composes all the songs. PopTape has been around since 2025 and will release individual songs, as well as singles or EPs. (PopTape will probably never release a full album.) The guy behind the artist name was active in the music scene in Oslo from the late 1980s, but then took a long break until 2020, where he started writing songs and recording demos. In 2025, he changed his ambition level and started recording songs with a view to release. The artist says he will always focus on sounds and moods, and that he will not be tied to specific styles. Experimentation and going off the beaten track seem to be important to the music.
