Polaroids of the Pyramids is an electro-acoustic band from Atlanta, GA featuring Gina Maddox, Scott Capps and Steve Herzlieb. The band's philosophy is to embrace and explore the harmonic nature of the duality of existence. Polaroids of the Pyramids believes that we are not defined through battles of opposing forces, but rather from complements of diverse elements that form the whole. The band makes music using a variety of electronic and acoustic gear through a combination of improvisation and careful planning. Everything happens for a reason because the happening is the reason. The world is strange enough to allow this.
