About Pluck Theater
Doug Cowan (now with BullyClub - Vocals and Guitar Steve Gerlach - Vocals and Bass Jeff Spring - Drums Indie rockers based in Portland, Maine, U.S.A. in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Most of Pluck Theater's material was a little more alternative and slightly more grungey than R.E.M., but the band was clearly influenced by both R.E.M. and the Seattle music scene. Very catchy, upbeat tunes, worthy of wider distribution than the band ever got.
