It all starts in Mountlake Terrace. 3 of the members (Kelly,Zack,Jeff) have or are still going to Mountlake Terrace High School which is one of the top schools in the nation for jazz bands. Ricky plays bass in the Jackson High band which is also a great school. Kelly and the singer Calen were best friends and liked going to shows and listening to hardcore and jazz. So Kelly had this crazy idea to round up people for a hardcore jazz band. Kelly had never heard anything like this and really wanted to get it started. After 2 months of prep and writing a few songs he compiled some people to play with him. At first they had a different drummer but he ended up not working out. By then they had the core of the band and 4 songs completed. Every show they played they got very good feedback. So they kept trying harder and finally they got a new drummer (Justin) and everything fell into place. Most people think theyre about to play ska when they get up there because of the trumpet and keys but once they start playing everyone loves it. This is a big start for this band and they are recording a demo in July and there first ep in November so keep an eye on this it wont be the last time you hear of the Jazzcore band Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally.
