From the suburbs of Las Vegas a group of friends found a common interest and ran with it. Play For Keeps was brought together by a love for making music and ability to put up with each other. Front man Cameron Dettman was joined by Brian Jones of former local band Hitting on Hannah, Joseph Gilbert, of At Lines End, and Cash Colligan, formally of The Cab . After numerous line up and name changes the group would now be ready to build a future. Play For Keeps draws their influences from across the board; anything from blues to 90’s pop is fair game. Taking the right steps the guys feel they have found a sound just a little different than other bands. “We know what genre we are but hate the idea of being boxed in musically,” says Dettman. “We’re just a bunch of guys who found a common love.”
