About Plamen Vecne Zime
CHANGED NAME INTO 'PLAMEN VEČNOSTI' Link for PLAMEN VEČNOSTI: http://www.last.fm/music/Plamen+Ve%C4%8Dnosti?source=home-new-to-library Musical project, under jurisdiction of 'Hram Plamena'. The Journey....of a soul, just to find out you where always here The Understanding....of existence, the deep acceptance of oneself The Feeling....of the being, entwined The One....with everything and nothing OMNIPRESENT, SILENT! SHINE ON! Brief introduction, History of Plamen Vecne Zime: 2008.-2009.: "When you can hear music in the wind, when you can fall in love with the sunset and autumn, with all its trees and feel the scent of forgotten memories kept in every dying leave, then you will know why you are here. Then you will understand me..." with those words, Sifr (Slavnik) tried to bring you, as close as possible, the idea of his project under the name "Plamen Večne Zime" (in English: "The Flame Of Eternal Winter"). The idea for this project was born in winter of 2008. In the beginning, Sifr (Slavnik) had no knowledge where this band project will lead. He started with creating music and lyrics about History, Nature, Slavonic believes. The music itself was some kind of Pagan Metal with influence from Black and Folk Metal. The second person included in this project was Krstokosač (cross-reaper) who created lyrics about Anti-Christianity. He was a close friend of Sifr (Slavnik). But as time passed by, Sifr (Slavnik) started to concentrate his creation more and more on instrumental and ambient music than metal music. Although, instrumental music is still "metal" in its structure and instruments are still guitars, drums, keyboards and frula (Serbian national instrument). In 2009, Sifr (Slavnik) moved his creation of music from classic metal to more Instrumental Pagan Music (still could be called Metal). 2010.: 2010. was the year when Sifr (Slavnik) decided to create Ambient and Atmospheric music, and the need for lyrics in Instrumental metal faded away. But still the idea is based on Nature and all its beauty. "I think that I don't need any lyrics, 'cause talking in tones and melodies is perfectly enough to express what I feel and hear in the Wind. For now, of course... Nature is our Mother. This Earth is all that we have. As the Indians said: "Man belongs to the Earth, the Earth does not belong to man". Just imagine how one old tree can be wise, how wind can make music... That's why I consider them as my teachers." said Sifr (Slavnik). 2011.: At year 2011. something happened. On album ''Stremiti'' Sifr (Slavnik) did something more and reached deep inside of the inspiration that drives the idea for PVZ. From that moment, that was not just the music. PVZ started to develop into the form of something that contains music and a way of viewing and accepting the outside and inner worlds. That was a very important moment for Sifr (Slavnik). Finally, the music started to entwine with things and thoughts which it is supposed to translate. The path, on which PVZ landed its feet, was the hard one, but for the first time, Sifr (Slavnik) felt the right sense and the feelings were whispering all together something real and strong. It was time for PVZ to envole...beyond... 2012.: 2012. was the year when the album ''Izvan Sopstva'' (Beyond Self) was finished. ''That was the crown of creation, the goal the was yearning to be achieved. The whole concept of album was very deep, and it contained the expression of inner journey into the unknown depths of ''self'' concept and enlightenment that was the part of personal experience and will to explore hidden, beautiful and hard paths that lead to the unspeakable.'' For Sifr (Slavnik) that was the opening of a new gate that waits to be explored, yet the new step will be very difficult. 2013.: If we look upon PVZ’s work in 2012. (album ’Izvan Sopstva’) we can see that ’Per Aspera Ad Astra’ is a logical continueum. Those of you who followed PVZ from the beggining will realise that this album, ’Per Aspera Ad Astra’, is something new. Still, there is well known atmosphere that Plamen creates, but something more is hidden beneath the surface of every single note. Deep inside the core of the album is the ultimate silence, beauty and something unknown. This unknown fields, manifested as darkness, are touched by the tourch of Sifr (Slavnik), and that was the moment when the music started to write, literary, itself. We won’t be wrong if we say that the sound of album comes from the inside, this dark and wounderes place, lighted up just a little, enough for the beauty to manifest itself and transform intro the notes. The light is shining, showing the path. The first step has been made, Per Aspera Ad Astra.
