About Pitchplant
Pitchplant are the duo of Christian Wiklund (a.k.a W0c) and Mattias Hällsten (a.k.a hstone). Based in San Francisco, USA and Motala, Sweden. The group previously known as Pigbay / Supa Weight Orange (SWO) have been recording tracks since the late 90´s (at that time based in Karlstad, Sweden.) The music has mostly been spread among friends, played in clubs, radio and also used for a documentary on the SVT (Swedish Television.) The music consists of analogue synthesizers, vinyl recordings, software synthesizers, guitar, electric bass and vocals. Their first release, Fat Is Beautiful (late 90´s) were only made in a few copies and spread among friends. Pitchplant have also made picture arts to friends they love. In the summer of 2007, Pitchplant performed at the Norberg Festival in Sweden.
