About Pigshackle
Pigshackle is a progressive/experimental instrumental "metal" band from London, England. The band started as an instrumental trio in early 2003 as guitarist Steve Inman, drummer Andy K and bassist Oliver Lord, but have since changed their line-up to a four-piece to include saxophonist/synth player Josh Perl, also of Knifeworld. Oliver Lord left the band in 2010 and was briefly replaced by Sam Warren, also of Thumpermonkey, who has since left and been replaced by Sophie Simpson, formerly of Yeborobo. They released their debut EP "EPIG" through Genin Records in 2007, and a full length double album in February 2012 entitled Unplug the Sun.
