Pete MacLaine & The Clan are a rock band from Stockport, 'Greater Manchester', United Kingdom, first formed in 1963 as an R&B and beat band. The group has seen many line-up changes, too numerous to mention, but always at the helm is Pete MacLaine. In the early days the band toured with the Stones and the like. Evolved for a while into a cabaret band and performed at major cabaret venues around the United Kingdom. Pete's desire to sing jazzy, bluesy, funky country took him back to his roots and has always remained his first love especially with his current line-up.
