Pete Winwood was born is Walsall, West Midlands and spent most of his Youth growing up in different towns around the South Staffordshire area, First getting into Singing through school plays and with a little nudge, joined the Cannock Chase County Choir where he appeared at the Royal Albert Hall with other regional choirs for a joint performance to a full house, Pete Also fronted an originals band called small EXISTENCE which he formed at Wolverhampton University, playing local gigs around the Midlands and performing on the Cannock Town Centre Christmas Lights Turn on, in association with Beacon Radio in front of 4000 peeps and received local press coverage. Upon leaving uni Pete decided to pursue a Singer/Songwriter Approach, and felt getting in touch with himself and a acoustic guitar, was the right way forward, really stripping down a song and bearing all, Pete Quotes' I write musically through lyrically thoughts on life and the universe, trying to bring a bit of hope, love and a little sincerity to the world, and all coated in an uplifting and drawing sound, with a good old rock beat, keeping the songs on track.' Now with a couple of years experience within the singer-songwriter realm, Pete has completed a fully produced EP, which pushes his sound and songs to more of a Solo Artist Title working and gaining invaluable experience with Talented producers and session musicians. Following this Pete has recently received radio play on BBC6 Music and has been introduced live on BBC regional stations, also performing on college/community commercial and internet stations, and has had plenty of positive feedback and interest from major and independent publishing companies.
