With an almost reflexive urge to avoid musical conventions, Per[C]eptor seeks to explore the boundaries of what makes music music and tell the world of what he sees all around him, going back to the roots of industrial music with modern machines to go where few ever do. As abrasive and experimental as possible, you will be blasted by waves of sound, lulled by textured drones, and bombarded with a mixture of rhythmic and arrhythmic drums. Hailing from the oil derrick city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Per[C]eptor sees much decay underneath the glossy sheen of the world, both moral and material. what do you see? The first solo project of the artist Gotthavok, Per[C]eptor is an experiment in sound design and expression.
