Peanut, Tree Nut, & Gluten Free is an indie pop band + collective started in 2024 as a spinoff project between Rose Lockwood (Jordan Sunlight/A Person Named Rose) and Jay Galaxia (Jay The Jackalope) of The Everfree Forest and Juno of a Slight Threat. The name was first used as a way for Lockwood and Juno to release their collaborative album, PEZ, in April 2024. Not too long after the album's release, Galaxia joined, and in May 2024 began to work on a long-term project, Star Songs, in which they would release songs named after every star from Super Mario 64. As of August 2024, the Star Songs project is still ongoing, with weekly releases of songs on the band's SoundCloud. While directly the group is a collaborative effort of each member's solo projects, Peanut, Tree Nut, & Gluten Free is also adjacent to Lockwood and Galaxia' s band, The Everfree Forest, which still plans to release new music alongside new Star Songs.
