About Pave the Rocket

From the ashes of My Little Dog China sprang the St. Louis Missouri based band Pave The Rocket. Fronted by the brother and sister team of Jason House (guitar and vocals) and Stacey House (guitar) and driven from behind with the solid rhythm foundations of Mike Belfield (bass), Jim Harper (1996-1998 (drums) and Ken Wilson (1998-2000 (drums). They signed with Deep Elm Records for one release and then parted with the label over various issues. They then released a 15 track follow up DIY CD called “Three Different Recordings” and disbanded after five years of touring and writing music. “Three Different Recordings” is downloadable for free at www.pavetherocket.bandcamp.com Jason House went on to lead an ambient down-tempo band called Ghost in Light, finding the trio sitting while playing, which later evolved into a 4 piece that erupted into a full fledged hard hitting rock band, sans the chairs. www.ghostinlight.bandcamp.com . Ghost in Light was active from 2005-2008. In 2010 Jason teamed up with former Pave the Rocket drummer Ken Wilson and Ghost in Light trumpeter, Andy Colligan to start a new band called Loza. www.facebook.com/lozatheband www.loza.bandcamp.com
