About Parkview

Parkview was a post-hardcore/pop-punk/alternative rock band from Pennsylvania, United States. The bio from Interpunk: Parkview, yet another powerful export from Pennsylvania, is an emotional rock gem, combining their obvious influences with their own signature sound. Simple, yet penetrating lyrics, delivered by vocals so wonderful that they almost have a texture of their own, "Breatherapy" offers listeners nine glances into this quartet's diary. Understated, intense, an album that any one of us could relate to. The members were Mark, Jay, Shawn, and Dan. Shawn and Dan went on to do a new project called Strike Fire Fall. Before ending Parkview, the band did release an album, Breatherapy in 2003 on Pumpkineater Records. Sounds like: Hawthorne Heights, Senses Fail, and Saosin, all mixed together.
