About Paolo Russo
Paolo Russo, born in Pescara in Italy in 1970 is a rising star. Educated in Italy and Denmark as a pianoplayer he later begun playing what can be considered his maininstrument today - the bandoneon. Already as a student he was invited to play and tour with people like Pablo Ziegler, Etta Cameron, Bo Stief. Today he has developed his very own style with inspiration from italien folksong, jazz and tango nuevo. His main groups are Nuevortrioporteño with Diego Sandullo & Ricardi Canepa from argentina and his European group with Nico Gori and Francesco Calí. Besides that Paolo Russo have ongoing projects with people like Paolo Fresu, Jesper Lundgaard and Stefano Bollani.
