About Paint on Silence
Paint On Silence is a 2-piece instrumental band from Greece, consists of lefteris & agamemnon. Grown up in Athens, studying in Patras, where it all started. Activity since early 2007. Music generated by guitars (using looping technique to produce a wider sound), bass, piano (different sorts) and use of PC, for recording loops, soft synths. Influences from a spectrum of musical styles. Examples are Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Yann Tiersen, Explosions In The Sky, Philip Glass, John Frusciante etc. One half of the band, lefteris, is pulsars&dyingstars, an electronica/ambient side project. Agamemnon also is a member (bass, keyboards) of the 5-piece alternative/rock band The Place Within, based also in Patras.
