怕胖團 (Pà pàng tuán; "PAPUN BAND"; in Japan also known as "ポップパンクバンドPAPUN BAND", Pop Punk Band PAPUN BAND) is a Taiwanese pop punk band which was formed in 2007. Members: ** Vocals & Guitar: 謝侃均 (Hsieh Kan-Chun; 閃亮/SHINING) ** Drums: 魏敦華 (Wei Tun-Hua; 老外/LEE) ** Bass: 黃怡瑋 (Huang Yi-Wei; 大寶/BOBO) Ex members: Drums: 保羅 (Paul) Bass: 謝孔鈞 (Xie Kongjun; Wee man) Biography: In 2007, two students in Taichung (Shanliang and Wee Man) with dreams of music formed a duo. When deciding on a name, they chose "怕胖團" (Pà pàng tuán) a homophone of "POP PUNK ." That same year, they began performing and released their first EP, "I Won't Answer Your Calls." On July 8th, they participated in the 8th Gongliao International Ocean Music Festival . In 2008, drummer Paul joined the group. On July 11, the three of them performed together at the 9th Gongliao International Ocean Music Festival ; and won the Ocean Star Award at the Ocean Awards. On April 3, 2009, they became a performing band that screamed in the spring of 2009. On November 12, "Wan's Music" released the band's first original album, "Are You Afraid of Getting Fat?". On April 7, 2010, they once again became the performing band for the Spring Scream of 2010. On July 9, they became the main stage performing band for the 11th Gongliao International Marine Music Festival . On April 7, 2012, they became the performing band for the Spring Scream of 2012. On September 21, with the release of the Taiwanese film " Touch of the Light ", lead singer Hsieh Kan-Chun (Sparkling) and a band member played the supporting role of Zhu Ziqing in the film, which received unanimous praise. On February 17, 2013, in the weekend lifestyle section of the Liberty Times , text reporter Chang Chia-yu and photojournalist Chen Chin-sheng co-wrote a feature article about the celebrities in the "Fear of Gaining Group". In April 2013, they won the championship at the Taiwanese Rock Carnival. On May 6, 2013, the champion group performed at the Taiwanese Rock Concert with well-known artists such as Wu Bai , Jeannie Hsieh , Naiwen Yang , and FIR . On September 12, 2013, the second album of the band "Fat Man" was officially released. On July 28, 2013, bassist Wee Man left the band after performing his last show at the Chiayi Wake Up Music Festival to pursue further studies abroad. In 2013, bassist Da Bao and drummer Lao Wai joined the band . On April 9, 2013, the music video "X" won the Southern Star Director Award and the Southern Star Video Technology Award from the Kaohsiung City Government Cultural Affairs Bureau , and the video has been viewed more than 60,000 times. On October 6, 2013, Neverland's "Never Land" tour was performed at The Wall in Gongguan . On October 26, 2013, Neverland's "Never Land" tour was held at The Wall, Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung .
