In January 2019, they released their single LIPS, which featured a music video and additional live footage in the Type A edition. This was followed by the single AQUA BLUE after the new drummer, Mizunazuki Takuto, replaced Hoshina Ryo. In 2019, POIDOL released their first full album, JEWELRY BOX, on September 4. The album was available in three versions: Type A, Type B, and Type C. Type A included 11 tracks and a DVD featuring the music video for the song "IDOL" as well as live footage from their anniversary and vocalist Nana Ayase's birthday performance. In 2020, POIDOL announced a concept series of three singles titled Shounen-A-, Shounen-B-, and Shounen-C-, to be released between January and May. The first single, Shounen-A-, was released on January 15, accompanied by the music video for "Ryoukiteki Shounen" (猟奇的少年). The music video for Ryoukiteki Shounen (猟奇的少年), the first single, depicted a dark narrative reflecting the band's conceptual shift. POIDOL announced their disbandment on May 13, 2020, following a final one-man tour titled “Period.” The last performance was scheduled for November 29 at Shinjuku BLAZE. The band cited personal differences among members as the reason for their decision, emphasizing that they did not disband due to conflicts or poor relationships. They had already made the decision to break up before their planned KYOU-HAN-SHA tour, which was canceled after two shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To mark their final release, POIDOL digitally distributed the single "link.," the concluding piece in a three-part conceptual series created by vocalist Nana Ayase. Alongside this, they planned to release a best-of album, though details were to be announced later. In individual messages, the band members reflected on their journey. Nana Ayase, the vocalist, expressed that while the band members did not part due to personal issues, their differing goals and perspectives caused the group to slowly drift apart. He admitted feeling responsible as the leader for not recognizing this sooner. Guitarist Souta Nagi shared similar sentiments, acknowledging the unraveling of the band over time but remaining grateful for the memories and experiences POIDOL had given him. Bassist Ran Ayase also mentioned that the small differences between their visions had grown over time, leading to the decision to disband. Drummer Takuto Mikazuki echoed this, explaining that the differences in values and ideals made it difficult to envision a future for the band. Despite the challenges, the members conveyed their deep appreciation for their fans, known as Sapphires, and vowed to continue giving their best until the final performance. POIDOL officially disbanded after their final show in November 2020, concluding their three-year career in the visual kei scene.
