About PLOKK

PLOKK are from Hamburg. A 5-man hydro-power trio consisting, heteroclitically, of guitar, bass, and drums. They seek to propagate physical perplexity, mental insurgence, and spiritual imbroglios using nothing but the instruments their moms gave them. PLOKK is intelligent krautrock of a newer breed armed to the teeth with irony, a settled sound and talent for assembling sound, rarely seen these days. With the essential use of bass, guitar and drums they will make sparks fly from amps and drums towards the floor and make wonder - is this for dancing or for thinking? Could be categorized as a subversive low level instrumental bands confrontation with a marching band gone post-rock or just even plain mad.
