Oscillys, a new Progressive Rock/Metal project, was formed early 2013 by Pim Wesselink and Thomè de Souza. Originally the band started as nothing more than a side project but eventually Oscillys became a lot more than "just a side project". Pim and Tom had a passion for music with a light ambient feel and decided to make this kind of music instead of just listening to it. Despite the fact that Oscillys had a slow start as a band and lots of trouble finding members they continued rather as a project than a band. As they continued writing their music a few songs were born. Later in 2014 Oscillys became more of a band when Ben Kühtreiber joined in as second guitarist and Nando Bemelmans became their Bass Player. Since Lacey Bartels joined in as their vocaliste the band is working hard on their debut album. Oscillys is a band with a unique sound which can be recognized by a combination of ambient sounds, different music styles and often a progressive and rhythmic Guitar and drum pattern.
