About Ordinary Venus
Ordinary Venus is a Japanese electro-pop unit, formed in 2008 and composed of vocalist Sayaka Nishiwaki [西脇彩華] (nicknamed "Cha-pon"; younger sister of Perfume member Ayaka Nishiwaki, known by fans as A-chan) and producer / visual artist Shuji Ishii [石井秀仁], frontman of the new wave band goatbed. Sayaka is also a member of techno-pop idol group 9nine. The are signed under the label Victor Entertainment. While having released no physical/digital singles, many of the group's songs are heavily rotated in the Japanese club scene, and they gained notoriety for being out of the public spotlight most of the time. Their debut album was released in December of 2008.
