Olli Häme Quintet was a long-time Finnish jazz group around in the 50's. Besides the double bass player and conductor Olli Häme (1924-1986) members of the band were Unto Haapa-aho (baritone saxophone), Erkki Melakoski (piano), Eino Virtanen (trumpet and vibraphone) and Erkki Valaste (drums). The group was prominent in the progress of Finnish jazz and pop music.
