About OG Ulla-Maija

OG Ulla-Maija (OGUM for short) is a rapper from Finland. He has published 12 singles as of early 2020, from which a couple of singles streamed gold and one streamed platinum in Finland. OGUM started his career at 2010 by releasing songs that were parodies of other Finnish rap songs. Multiple of OGUM's songs have gained a notorious status due to his lyrics, which are often being interpreted as promoting acts of violence against women, though OGUM has defended these lyrics on several interviews for being misunderstood. Due to the nature of his songs and the reputation he had gained with his single 'Makia', he doesn't have a record label, his songs have been banned from radio stations and even though 'Makia' streamed platinum, the song did not appear in Spotify's top 50 from Finland -playlist.
