About OG Eastbull
The Italian-Romanian rapper, real name Alfred Hodor, was born in Germany, then spent a few years in Romania, before moving to the Roman neighborhood of Due Ponti. His stage name reflects perfectly his past: on one side OG stands for Original Golani, which in Romanian has different senses, but here means mainly 'bad boys', 'thugs', while on the other the word Eastbull describes his origins. OG's poetic, aimed at escaping a reality that sometimes is too complicated, is complemented by the sound production of Il Mago del Blocco, who mixes baile funk, rap, South American sounds, and references to the Romanian and Sinti tradition. Twelve songs that describe the best part about Due Ponti, to "make the sun shine at the block", enriched by the collaborations of Fred De Palma, Edo Fendy and, of course, BPR SQVAD.
