She is of Congolese, Irish, and South African descent and grew up in both Dublin and Cape Town, the latter of which she is currently based in. She blends elements of Rap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul and Trap, into what she calls "Trazz". In 2020, she gained attention online for her song Transcend after it was featured in a #BlackLivesMatter 'Stream To Donate' video.
