Monterey, California, United States (2009 - Present) Nylon Vinyl is the musical partnership of Ben Rosett (drummer of Strawberry Girls) and Isaac Brickner (formerly of New Light Ruins). As brothers-in-law and brothers-in-love, their songs are birthed out of pure collaboration during family functions (holidays, birthdays, weddings, etc.) The music that comes out of these times brings together elements that are normally disconnected, but are better when held in tension: the serious and the silly, the sacred and the secular, gospel funk and latin salsa.
