Vox / Bass : Phil Saunders / Guitars / Vox : Kev Ellison / Drums / Vox : Ian Thomas Formed in 2001 as a kind of punk rock experiment, NSR became one of the North East;s favourite homegrown bands. With a slightly strange agreement to play just 1 show per year (The Reunion), they axed this plan in 2009 and became a "full time band". NSR were 75% of Teesside teen rock heroes Helter Skelter, who later became Skeat in 1999. They were then managed by an American ex-vietnam vet named Dick Rashman, who also managed Johnny Panic. Rashman later left rock music behind and went on to discover and form Busted. NSR live, write and record in the North East of the UK. Self released album Spit n Sawdust came out in 2005. A new EP Stockton On Tees came out in 2011 on Massive Skull Records.
