About Njörða
“Njörda” is a unique musical project from St. Petersburg, Russia, combining elements of Nordic folk fused with melodic metal. The band's ideology and concept are based on stories and legends, Scandinavian sagas, mythology and traditions filled with echoes of the past. Something wild, fierce, that has been flowing in our blood for centuries. In our work you can hear both mesmerizing shamanic tunes, wrapped in dark ethnic melodies, and light academic vocals. All music is accompanied by interesting and concise visual content. The project united talented people and like-minded people for long-term, fruitful work, aimed at creating an original musical product and high-quality, atmospheric show program.
