The tapework project was a side project of Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor). Although a number of songs were finished no official work was brought out on CD. This group is effectively a "supergroup" because many other famous artists worked on this project, including amongst others: Marilyn Manson, Maynard Keenan (Tool), Phil Anselmo (Pantera). Also the famous producer Alan Moulder worked alongside Trent Reznor on the production side of the songs. The only material that was ever performed live was a track called "Vacant" which eventually ended up on "A Perfect Circle's" CD Emotive as the track "Passive". This version of the track was featured in the movie Augustine.
