About Nina Jayne

Nina Jayne Patrick began her recording career under the name N'Jay, winning the MOBO 'Best Unsigned Act' in 2001 and releasing her debut single, Chat Up Line, the following year on Go Beat Records. Following Nina's departure from her first label over creative control she was signed to Arista. Her first single using her real name Nina Jayne was 'Could've Been' and was released in 2004. She then released another song, 'Anything,' on limited release for fans through her website. Towards the end of 2004 Nina released an EP entitled 'No Ordinary Pain' in anticipation of her first album. This contained 5 songs, "No Ordinary Pain," "Get Up," "They Say Vision" (Res cover), "Could've Been" and "High Is How I Behave." These songs showcased Nina's emotional lyrics. Nina Jayne's debut album, "Found My Place," was scheduled for release in early 2005, however Nina was dropped from her record label and thus the album was never released.
