About Never Played On The Radio
Never Played On The Radio were a five piece Indie band from Macclesfield, UK. Formed in early 2006 by Tim Dalzell, Darryl Jordan & Andy Cantillon, Never Played On The Radio began to learn covers of songs and write their own material, however it soon appeared obvious to the band that they were going to need another guitarist and a singer if the band were to go forward. At this point, Fred Wildgoose was brought into band as a lead guitarist. Soon after this the band began to learn new covers and wrote their own material in preparation for gigs that they hoped to play later that year in 2006 however they still faced the problem of having an absentee in the form of a lead singer. However, In December 2006 Josh Smith was brought into the band as lead vocalist of Never Played On The Radio. In early 2008, Never Played On The Radio decided to quit, and thus meant that the band went their separate ways. Darryl, Fred and Josh joined together with Daniel Sutcliffe, the band manager, and Dave Grant, to form the band, Der.Die.Das. Tim Dalzell started his own band, but are yet to have a name or any songs.
