About Nervöse Leute
Nervöse Leute (Nervous People) are an experimental (noise) project, sampling and mixing sounds taken from recordings and occasional musical / spoken word pieces and live found objects recordings. The project was formed in Russia in 2014. The main aim is to put different pieces into logically built compositions. Nervöse Leute released a self-titled album in January, 2015, and it included sound collages made using basically shortwave radio recordings: Nervöse Leute declare the shortwave radio collage as a form of sound art. In December, 2016 Nervöse Leute appeared on a split cassette with their 2nd album which included sound collages made using analogue equipment, and it included samples from Russian FM-radio of 1990's-2000's, tape manipulations, field recordings, etc. In October, 2018 Nervöse Leute released a floppy disk "Mellow" with a link to their 3rd album "Concrete Rats", which provided results of further sonic experiments on the frontiers separating music and noise. In August, 2020 Nervöse Leute released a tape with their 4th album "I Play the Music - You Dance". In 2022 Nervöse Leute reunited in the original lineup and released an EP "Retrowelle" where retrowave music is mixed with creepy and weird speech samples. Nervöse Leute do not own any rights for the samples they used, being the authors of the whole collages only. They do not make any profit out of these tracks, but if you are the copyright owner of any of samples they used, please contact them, and they will remove your samples from the album. http://nervoese-leute.bandcamp.com/ https://soundcloud.com/nervoese-leute
