About Nengue
Electro Rock Band from Terni (first years of the 80s - Italy) The Project starts with the precise idea to experiment the new electronic instruments following the road signed by bands such Kraftwerk. However, in the time, the influences will be different: first industrial bands, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Etno-Funk, Big Beat, Trance, Hardcore, Jazz, Classical Music..etc... Many artists will play for the band but the only stable member will be Alex Staro, perfomer and dj, real deus ex machina of the project. The band will produce some demos and music for theatrical shows, concept albums, audiovisual stages and soundtracks. A track of the band was enclosed (with a modified name: 'Mengue') in the 391 Umbria compilation, a very good selection on the best musical underground wave projects of their region.
