"Nairi" is an Armenian heavy metal band formed in 2007. The main aspects of Nairi's music are complex heavy sounding riffs and melodic solos, which include a lot of Armenian ethnic elements. Name "Nairi" comes from an ancient name of the Armenian land, which can be translated as "The Land of Waters". The band's main goal is to connect Armenian ethnic folk melodies with the modern sound of metal.
