20 things about Nadine Loren 1. I was born in Switzerland. 2. I learned to speak English on the stage - doing musicals like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The King and I. 3. I have a psychological allergy to Onions. 4. Equinox are playing my songs in their gyms across the US and have included a couple on their quarterly compilations! 5. I grew up in Germany so speak it fluently. I also speak some Italian and French. 6. I drive a stick shift (yes that means a manual car!) 7. I came to LA after landing the role of Angie in the Paramount Pictures film Without a Paddle starring Seth Green, Matthew Lillard, Dax Sheppard and Burt Reynolds. I also appeared on Hercules and Xena. 8. I named my first album “Living In Wonderland” because Los Angeles often reminds me of a Wonderland. 9. I think Smores are one of the greatest American inventions ever. 10. I have an older sister who played the role of Myrtle in the film An Angel At My Table directed by the Oscar Winning writer director Jane Campion. 11. My younger brother once cooked for the Queen of England, when he was a chef at St Jame's palace! 12. I have a black Giant Schnauzer called Roko, named after the NZ All Black rugby player Rokocoko. 13. My fabulous parents have been married more than 35 years! 14. Two of my songs are featured in the compilation album “Bad Girls Don’t Cry” alongside Duffy and Amy Winehouse (distributed by Universal Music in Europe and Asia). 15. I am addicted to Spinning - and have to go to at least 3 spin classes a week. 16. My favorite Opera Singer is Dame Joan Sutherland. 17. I hope to run a Marathon one day. 18. Wally Callerio remixed a couple of my songs and has included them in his House Music Compilation "The Adventures of Poncho Warwick”. 19. I’ve sung the US National Anthem for the NY Mets, NJ Devils, LA Dodgers, PBR and the Washington Nationals. 20. I love wine tasting. As in LOVE wine tasting. And who doesn’t love chocolate?
