About Musaphonic

An indie blend of melodic pop, progressive and ethnic musical sensibilities. 2012's Billiken Dance, the most recent Musaphonic outing, preceded by Adventurer's Club, released in late 2011, are considered by mainstay Tony Arnold to be his definitive rock outings. Nostalgia, also released in 2011, furthered his eclectic instrumental trend. Entertaining Monsters featured Tony Arnold's arrangement of Elmer Bernstein's "The Magnificent Seven," and the enigmatic "The Creeping Insidiae of Anthropomorphic Fruit." Yule Wonder is the weirdo holiday record for all tastes (and all seasons), while Stereotronic features the 30+ minute piece "The Cabinet of Curiosities," featuring the infamous underground poet Simeon Stylites. Tony Arnold has also appeared with Macular Degenerates, The Pachinko Allahs, Menage 'A Twang, and Gray Mortuary. http://musaphonic.bandcamp.com/ http://powerofprog.ning.com/profile/TonyArnold http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/Musaphonic
