MorrisonPoe (formerly known as MorissonPoe) is an American Alternative-Rock band formed in South Florida, 2002 by Jean Morisson and D.S. Poe. They're now situated in Raleigh, North Carolina. They signed to Nile Rodgers' label, Sumthing Else Music Works in 2006. MorrisonPoe started out in South Florida, quickly gaining success and notoriety for their musicianship and explosive shows. Through time, the band eventually moved to New York City. The band members are Jean Morisson, D.S. Poe (aka Mister D), Mike Gutierrez and Nyk. Touring took up most of their time, and when it was time to record their new album, after signing with famed producer Nile Rodgers’ label Sumthing Else Musicworks, they decided to move to Raleigh, North Carolina to record their new album. Their songs have been featured in Microsoft’s Xbox 360 game, Perfect Dark Zero.
