About Moonsoul
Moonsoul was started around May 2006 in Uppsala Sweden by it's creator known as Sai Youcho or Sai. Sai had always been interested in music from the start, but it was after getting more engaged in the creational process that things started taking off for real. Snapping up different musical styles and inspiration from several sources he decided to take his dreams to become a great singer and composer into motion. Moonsoul has from the start been aimed at the direction of J-Rock and Rock in general. However with lack of band members and with a evolving talent, the music has strayed off in many different path's and is now in a more experimental stage. The first song using lyrics was created and released for an online music contest where Moonsoul took the third place in the contest with it's first lyrical song ever. The lyrics however had to be cut down a great deal to reduce the song lenght and to finish the song in time for the submission date for the contest. The name of the song was "In The Twilight" and is available for listening. The current version is not however the final version and a enhanced remake has been planned for some time. The version currently available was recorded around 4-5 AM using crappy equipment and with a much weaker voice since Sai was forced to hold back a great deal to not wake up the whole neighborhood. The remake of In The Twilight should probably get a studio recording though to get the true feeling in the song. We will also try to incorporate the complete lyrics into the song if possible. Moonsoul's influences comes from a wide range of music. Top influences are: ZUN, Touhou, Gackt, Iceman, Yuki Kajiura, Several Videogames, Classical Music, and Rock.
