About Montes Rook
Montes Rook is a folk/pop rock band. Originally formed by Drew Guido and Noah Meyer in Montgomery, N.Y., Montes Rook began as an experimental offshoot of many different music projects. After settling into a pattern of writing songs as they record them, Guido and Meyer asked singer-songwriter Jean-Marie Dean to perform on one of their songs. Deciding they liked this new sound so much, the trio formed a band, combining Guido and Meyer's interesting songwriting styles with Dean's heartfelt lyrics and flowing vocals. Montes Rook's first album was released on May 16, 2011.
