About Monica Pilar and Undecided Jazzband
Undecided Jazzband was at the start in 1989 a band made of musicians rooted in several different musical styles. Playing Dixieland they soon began to develop their own modern Dixieland style when the band changed from banjo to guitar. Other styles of jazz were presented by the band. Their repertoire was normally played in mainstream swing, but they now also handle styles like bossa nova, blues, bebop, etc. The band has been invited to the most known festivals in Scandinavia, like Kongsberg Jazz Festival, Silda Jazz in Haugesund, Riverboat Jazz Festival in Silkeborg etc. Monica Pilar was presented to the band springtime this year. The band was engaged to play several times at the Momentum Festival Moss in June. They invited Monica to sing with the band during these performances. They experimented with several Latin songs. It was so successful that they went straight to the studio and recorded this CD in a live performance in July.
