Molly Marlette now releases music under the name Viola Odette Harlow (formerly Glüme). She identifies her music as folk-pop, and released her first album in 2008 when she was 20. Born in 1988, she has been playing since she was a child, growing up in the Los Angeles area while learning about music gradually through her early years, and graduating from Brea Olinda High School in 2006. Some of her early influences included the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Billie Holiday, Carole King, Chet Baker, Lou Reed, Fleetwood Mac, Feist, Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, and Radiohead
