About Minor ache

Minor Ache formed in Melbourne in 2002. Rob Schifferli (the leap year, braving the seabed) and Martin Allcock (the leap year, braving the seabed), both from Perth WA enlisted the help of many players to start the band. the ones that stuck were Lorne Clements (Tangled star, Bing, Baked, Chimpy), Howard Healy (Bluetile Lounge) and Simon Struthers (Adam Said Galore, Umpire, Mukaizake). Surprisingly, all of the above hail from Perth WA. Their one and only release, the six tracker "Black Hours Surround You" was released with little fanfare and no promotion in 2005, the same year both, Schifferli and Allcock returned to their hometown. Not long after that they started a band with old friends, Chris Reimer and Paul Haimes called The Leap Year. Allcock moved from Drums to Guitar to keep him sane and Schifferli did his best to stay amused with Guitar and Singing. Whilst the band aren't active at present, the general feeling is that it has NOT broken up.
