My Back Will Bend is Minor Kingdom's debut album. Recorded in many different bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, and basements Kristian Melom - mastermind behind the band, wanted the record to be a very personal and intimate listen. To prevent it from sounding like just another guy singing sad songs to his guitar, he decided to recruit as many musical guests as possible. The album consists of a Minneapolis all-star cast featuring Haley Bonar(Artists), J.T. Bates (The Pines, Alpha Consumer, Fat Kid Wednesdays), James Buckley (Mystery Palace, James Buckley Trio, The Dolly's), Chris Morrissey (Mason Jennings, Ben Kweller, Chris Morrissey Quartet), Howard W Howard III (Red Pens, Busy Signals) and Ben Durrant (Andrew Bird, Roma di Luna) - who also mixed the album. A perfect blend of musicians for a perfect fall and winter soundtrack.
